Postgraduate Institute of Management of the University of Sri Jayawardenepura will entertain applications for the above mentioned post from suitably qualified candidates up to August 16, 2010.

    *Applicants should be less than 50yrs of age

* Attend to assigned production modules and effectively allocate resources such as manpower, machines, overtime in order to facilitate the production of garments, adhering to quality standards whilst maintaining performance levels and timely delivery
    * Conduct the pilot appraisal meeting with the relevant parties in order to obtain conformity of the pilot production and ensure customer requirements are met
    * Maintain all records directly concerned with production such as input data, output data, order reconciliation etc in order to provide management information
    * Effectively co-ordinate with relevant departments such as merchandising, quality, Industrial Engineering, stores in order to resolve line issues and to facilitate smooth function of production

   1.planning, organizing and conducting investigations/ inspections/ supervise checks at Kolonnawa and Muthurajawela installations, bulk depots and all other related services
   2.energy, deploy, instruct and coordinate officers for such activities and implement the instructions of the Chairman/ MD in carrying out such activities
   3.liaise and coordinate with external, government and non-government bodies in relation to investigation matters and maintain a cordial relationship with such bodies
   4.giving leaderships to the investigation function in the administration as well as the HR Management of the function and other related affairs and maintaining a proper coordination with the other Heads of Functions
   5.take initiatives in probing frauds, misappropriations and other similar irregularities and take preliminary steps in forwarding them for disciplinary action or other legal action
