FINANCIAL ANALYST
| Description |
Assists and supports the Finance Manager who serves as the lead financial representative on multifunctional teams responsible for originating and closing energy related projects. Will perform financial analysis, research, and related modeling of proposal and development opportunities necessary to secure business opportunities while ensuring organizational risk adjusted return and/or financing requirements are satisfied. Also conducts request for proposals to secure the most competitive project financing among banking and lending contacts.

| Key Responsibilities |
- Assist with initial screening, qualification, and financial due diligence of potential customers, including preparation for presentations to senior level decision makers.
- Utilize financial models for pricing and financial evaluation of the proposed project economics incorporating revenue forecasts, delivery cost estimates, delivery schedule, risk mitigation costs, tax impacts and financing costs .
- Conduct sensitivity analyses to identify impact on return and exposure of variations in key project parameters representing the primary project risks internally managed.
- Conduct financing request for proposals among various banking and lending institutions. Analyze bid results and prepare selection memorandum for management and customer review .
- Assist in the administration of projects and project financings to include construction milestones, progress payments, project billings, lender communication, and compliance with financial covenants.
- Conduct research on applicability and availability of various financial incentives for projects including tax credits or deductions, grant and loan programs, renewable energy credits and incentives .
- Conduct ad hoc project variance, cost and other financial analysis as necessary.

| Requirements |
- BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline required.
- Minimum 2-4 years progressive experience performing complex financial analysis within a project.
- finance or energy services work environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Demonstrated verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills.
- Proven analytical, modeling, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
- Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing .
- May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
- Overnight travel required .
