We currently seek a Manager with demonstrated financial and renewable energy experience to partner with multifunctional teams originating and closing renewable energy projects. This opportunity is located in Framingham, MA.

Primarily responsible for renewable project financial structuring, pricing, analysis to ensure risk adjusted return. Collaborates with Engineering, Construction, and Operations to analyze and document project scope of work and cost projections. Also collaborates with Project Developers to ensure recognition of the customer’s financial expectations and drivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Business Development with prospective customer qualification, presentation, and financial due diligence.
  • Utilize financial models for pricing and financial evaluation of proposed project economics, including delivery cost estimates, schedule, risk mitigation costs, tax impacts and financing costs.
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses to identify project impact on return and ensure risk assessment.
  • Identify proposed project structure risks, develop risk mitigation sourcing strategy, and determine associated expense.
  • Prepare definitive agreement documents with internal or external legal counsel and ensure project structure and risk mitigation strategies are accurately embodied in third party agreements.
  • Lead discussions with third parties and customers concerning structure, pricing, and risk allocation.
  • Participate in the ongoing value verification process and lead documentation of customer financial savings/value provided by the project.
Requirements
  • BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field. MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
  • 5-7 years financial project management experience focusing on renewable and energy efficiency market opportunities.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation skills, including advanced computer proficiency.
  • Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule and provide on-call response.
  • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residence status required.
  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
  • Overnight travel as required.
