At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a Manager, Business Operations in our Boston, MA location. Will consider applications from other locations as this position can offer geographic flexibility.

 

The primary role of the Manager, Business Operations is to manage a group of employees focused on a developing and delivering reports to the field. In addition, provide technical expertise and support on available information to align with field needs for new initiatives and measurements. Focus on continuous improvement of the means of data management/distribution, look for opportunities to implement CPI methodology to make data management process more efficient.


Communication / networking with field and executive management (As it pertains to data / tool enhancement and development)
Understanding the needs of the business and how the data relates to these needs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
. Management of remote employees
. Ensure weekly information is delivered to the field
. Trouble shoot data inconsistencies
. Provide support to selling companies for data related questions
· Understanding requirements
· Defining/integrating new report requirements
· Operational / Transactional report design
· Analytical report design


The candidate can expect to play a leading role in recommending report design and data availability for new requirements.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree or equivalent experience and training
- 5-7 years of related experience
- Understanding and experience in:
Relational databases
SQL coding
Visual Basic
Focus ( or other 4GL)
SAS
Monarch
Advanced Microsoft Access and Excel skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Program Management experience
- CPI - Greenbelt
- Oracle BI Suite / Micro Strategy
