OSP (Outside Plant) Asst. Project Managers (x 3)
Job Description/
Responsibilities |
• Assist with preparation and follow up of the OSP activities project implementation plan • Identify, record, follow up and prepare corrective actions for all OSP dependencies • Interact, if needed, with local authorities for OSP permits requirements • Assist with all project implementation primary and secondary OSP requirements • Participate in project meetings with Vendors/ Contractors to review the project progress and OSP dependencies • Coordinate with concerned departments for the delivery of the implementation activities • Participate in progress meetings with other concerned departments (e.g. Design) • Communicate and escalate all civil implementation discrepancies against the implementation plan to FNI (Fixed Network Implementation) Director • Ensure that all relevant databases are updated on time and accurate • Assist Project Control team for the preparation of relevant reports • Receive and perform the assigned tasks as directed by the FNI Director |
| Profile |
• University Degree (Civil Engineer or equivalent) • Minimum 7 years experience with either an OSP contractor or an operator. • Minimum 3 years experience as assistance project manager. • Expertise should include the following activities; Fiber & Copper deployment, trenching, any activities related to Primary/Secondary SoW, Cutover, Hand Hole, Fiber Splicing. • Expertise should include the following technology ; MSAN, DSLAM, FTTx, Fiber • A PMI certification is an advantage • Essential soft skills: Team work, Communication skills and knowledge transfer capability • Experience with writing reports and preparing presentation |
