| Job Description | The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, directing and reviewing the work of plant personnel. |
| Responsibilities | • Planning and organizing day-to-day operations in the plant; • Monitoring the work of assigned staff; • Coordinating and delegating responsibilities of lead hands; • Evaluating and recommending changes to manufacturing methods and procedures; • Liaising with other groups within the organization; • Estimating personnel needs, scheduling, and assigning work; • Conducting performance evaluations; • Ensuring employees are informed and abide by safety rules and regulations, job requirements, proper procedures and handling methods; • Ensuring production complies with all applicable procedures, regulations and codes. |
| Requirements | • Three or more years in a supervisory role in manufacturing or construction; • Proven experience in delegating work to lead team members; • Experience supervising team of eight or more; • Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills; • Strong English language communication skills (written and spoken); • Strong organizational and planning skills; • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook); • Previous experience supervising tradespeople would be a valuable asset. |
