• Candidate must maintain extensive knowledge of the Lawson Business Intelligence (LBI) environments, product lines, directory structures and web infrastructure and will be expected to lead any LBI implementations or upgrades involving web installs including Apache and Tomcat.
• Candidate will be responsible for working with users to define requirements for Crystal Reports, Executive Dashboards, Smart Notes and Publishing.
• Candidate will work with IT staff to develop solution for requirements.
• Candidate will be expected to participate extensively in the development of these solutions.
• Responsible for monitoring the system for efficiency, disk space usage, and will work closely with the system DBA to ensure the Lawson application is running well within the Intel platform.
• A minimum of three years experience using Lawson/LBI in an iSeries environment is required.
• At least three years working in a technical capacity on Lawson systems with an extensive knowledge of Lawson environments, product lines/data areas, directory structures and the web infrastructure, including Apache, Tomcat, XML and Javascript.

LBI Administrative Functions
• Determine patch and upgrade dependencies for LBI. Communicate to users about scheduling for upgrades. Work with Lawson Administrator for scheduling and applying LBI patches and upgrades.
• Assist Lawson Administrator when needed for troubleshooting reporting issues - aborts, access issues, and scheduling problems.
• Maintain existing process flows.
• Setup new process flows including - creation of workflow tasks, category setup, and assigning roles to users/groups as needed.
• Manage version control for process flow designs - uploading new/changed flows to production server.
• Manage version control for dashboard designs - export dashboards from development and import to production.

• Extensive experience with LBI including Design Studio, Reporting Services, Framework Services, Smart Notes. Process Flow experience a plus.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate verbally and written with non technical users.
* A good working knowledge of Lawson security including web based as well as desktop security.
* Works occasional weekends

AS or AA - Required
BS - Preferred

Experience:
Three years LAWSON iSeries
Three years LBI experience
