The role: Operations Systems Analysts CRM, Asia Pacific Region



Google's Asia Pacific / Latin America Sales Operations team aims to provide the optimal client service experience to Google advertisers. The team assists in the technical sales and support of Google's targeted advertising solutions, thereby helping the Advertising Sales team drive business revenue growth across a variety of verticals and regions.



The team is fond of hands-on techies, who are passionate about championing
business projects from Auckland to Zhanjiang. The Operations Systems Analysts will be our APAC experts of new and ongoing initiatives related to Google’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and Sales Analytics efforts. Responsibilities:

  • Work with regional system users to gather requirements and enhancement requests.
  • Manage regional system launches and feature releases, including beta tests, deployments and training for new teams and new Google country locations.
  • Develop scripts and tools for system operation analysis and for custom requirements.
  • Evangelize Google’s regional CRM and Sales Analytics strategy across Asia Pacific.
  • Provide system administration and support, including data management, user access, permissions, rule sets and technical troubleshooting.


Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree from a top tier university, ideally in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in a progressive high tech environment; minimum 2 years of which developing, maintaining or supporting internal applications.
  • Business analytics experience (packaged or custom), including dashboard creation.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent customer-facing, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English, and also in Chinese or Korean; knowledge of additional Asian languages very helpful.
  • Plusses: SQL experience (query creation/optimization, database administration and/or modeling), experience with Linux/Unix, Python/Perl, technical consulting or project management experience.
