Job Description

The candidate will be overall responsible for the Command Sales in Indian Army(all commands) from the perspective of Marketing, Order Booking, Sales, Profitability, Accounts Receivables, Customer Satisfaction(i.e meeting targets of scope, time, cost & quality) and effectively leading the projects team.

  • To support in development and implementing a Marketing strategy for aligning company's business goals with customer's short and long term requirements.
  • To generate Commands Sales business for the company by understanding market & customer's requirements and mapping solutions alongwith the PEL products portfolio( telecom/ networking equipment & service, i.e turnkey projects). Wherein the existing PEL product portfolio does not support the customer's requirements, provide requirements to D&E so that effective solutions can be developed.
  • To support the project stakeholders for all pre-sales activities in-order to achieve customer's confidence in PEL's product portfolio, thereby influencing the RFP specifications in PEL's favour.
  • To effectively lead the project team during tendering phase so that RFP/RFQ can be converted into confirmed P.O. without compromising the Command Sales profitability.
  • To lead the project team during sales realization process so that all Command Sales activities can be completed as per customer's requirements without compromising PEL's business objectives and payments can be realized as per commitments.
  • To support the customers for all post-sales activities so that PEL is perceived as a preferred partner by the customer and repeat business can be generated for the company.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate preferably B.E/ B.sc/ Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunications and/or any other equivalent university degree, along with preferably MBA.
  • Experience of 4 to 7 yrs in handling the communication products & services (PEL product protfolio, i.e. Networking, IT & Telecom Products & Services).
  • Must be having basic knowledge and understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP,TDM, routing protocols, switching architectures and IT fundamentals, i.e. IP, Frame Relay, ATM etc.
  • Proficient Communication & presentation skills with verbal and written fluency in English/ Hindi languages and leadership skills.
  • People oriented and can mix up with people.
  • Can travel a lot so that all account related activities can be managed.
  • Willing to take initiative and work under pressure.
  • Self motivated with positive attitude.
  • Sufficient experience in use of computers and extensive knowledge of MS Office applications including(MS Projects).
  • Willing to relocate to Noida.
