The ideal candidate has 3+ years of retail experience, preferably from a high-volume store, in a management position (store manager, assistant store manager, team lead, sales manager,etc), has a college diploma or an university degree, good understanding of retail and P&L, ability to motivate and develop sales associates, and is open to advancement and potential relocation within the company in the future. Doctorate (PhD) or Master in Molecular Biology

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a Middle Eastern industrial powerhouse and now well established retailer with outlets across the Middle East within fashion and food. We are currently looking for a Human Resource Director to come on board and oversee all HR aspects within the retail business. This is not a typical HRD role; the candidate will ideally come from an operational role within a large blue chip retailer with an in-depth understanding of HR processes and principles. Your remit will consist of: - To take full ownership and accountability for the management of the regional HR function.
1. Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
2. Conducts exit interviews and analyzes data and makes recommendations to the HR Manager for corrective action and continuous improvement.
3. Responds to employee relations issues.
4. Facilitates and/or provides training (including orientation) to the workforce.
5. Reviews applications and interviews applicants to match experience with specific job related requirements.
The role is to support the SAP HR systems and new implementation in the client organization. The role will not be limited to delivering functional/technical expertise. A minimum of 2+ Full Life Cycle Implementations with Implementation experience of SAP ECC 6.0 HR (Time Management, Payroll, and Compensation Management, Training & Event management). Expertise on areas such as SAP MSS, ESS, E - Recruitment, CRM, Solution Manager, BW is a must. Requirement gathering, functional specs creation Is able to lead teams with integrated components. Manages medium to large components of engagements. Ensures completeness of integrated testing Reviews and validates analysis and develops recommendations in context of total engagement. Articulates industry-specific business processes.
Responsible for the sourcing, recruiting, screening, and interviewing of our future store managers by placing them into department manager positions. Also assisting with new store orientations and employee relations issues for a specific group of stores as well as assisting the Corporate Human Resource team in identifying and resolving work place issues.
