Responsible for the sourcing, recruiting, screening, and interviewing of our future store managers by placing them into department manager positions. Also assisting with new store orientations and employee relations issues for a specific group of stores as well as assisting the Corporate Human Resource team in identifying and resolving work place issues.
  1. Assist in consolidating and tracking all employees’ attendance record and weekly & monthly review with HRM;
  2. Assist in updating all leave records to ensure proper documentation;
  3. Assist in handing over procedures for new and resigned employees;
  4. Coordinate with appointed insurance agent in regard to employees' travel insurance; dental and medical insurance claims; updating of confirmed and resigned employees to the insurance policies;
  5. Assist in preparing documentation for new employees' orientation; Introduction of new recruit to colleagues whenever it is required;
  6. Assist in coordinating the timeline and consolidation of Performance Management Process
  7. Assist in coordinating the recruitment process on ERF; screening; contacting short listed candidates, pre-interview arrangement, etc.;
  • A Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with preferably two years of recruitment experience
  • Candidates must possess good communication and interpersonal skills

Human Resources Manager
To develop human resources policies, procedures and programs to ensure effective, fair, and equitable management of staff.

Quality Engineer:
To assist the Quality Manager in monitoring the quality assurance and quality control activities.
  • Process payroll and overtime
  • Petty cash administration
  • Recruitment administration
  • Training administration
  • Conduct orientation
  • Responsible for foreign workers’ hostel affairs
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned

. University degree in human resources, business, social sciences or related fields.

. Ten plus years of previous human resources experience and success in providing recruitment services to business areas within a complex, high growth, multi-divisional organization.

. Solid project management and communication skills.

. Strong team player with a collaborative style and pragmatic orientation.

. Proven skills in leading individuals and teams.

. A track record of successfully developing, implementing, communicating, and effectively leading / influencing organizational change in a large complex corporate organization.

. Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with internal customers, external providers and industry contacts.

Our client in downtown Kitchener has a 1 year contract as a Corporate Recruiter. In this role you will; review candidates for qualifications/education, conduct pre-screening phone interview, setup interviews, administer testing and interview candidates, complete reference checks and criminal reference checks, prepare offer letter packages for new employees and manage administrative tasks as required.
  • Degree in Human Resource or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with 2 years in recruitment function
  • Clear sense of the market in which our business operates and an understanding of the competitors, suppliers, customers and regulatory environments
  • Able to work independently and ensure that resourcing objectives are met in compliance with the company’s competency model
